Photocopy of a newspaper clipping. Publication title and date not included, but Feb 2, 1932 has been hand written at top of article. Text as follows: Washington Funeral of Albert Heline The funeral of Albert Heline was very largely attended on Friday afternoon from the Swedish Congregational church, which was completely filled by a company of sorrowing relatives and friends. Rev Carl G. Anderson officiated and the service was most impressively conducted and full of comfort to the bereaved. Postmaster Walfred Carlson and Mrs C. G. Anderson sang a beautiful duet "The Lights of Home," and Mrs Anderson sang a solo. The two hymns used were in the Swedish language. Rev Mr Anderson paid a tribute to the deceased and spoke of his acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as Master and Savior. There was a profusion of floral tributes which entirely filled the pulpit platform and organ. Mrs theodore Hanning officiated at the organ. A part of the service was in Swedish but Mr Anderson's address and tribute was in the English language. The pall bearers were James Anson, Philip Strong, Fred Richmond, William Grassi, Earle Phelps and Walfred Rehn. The burial was in the cemetery on the Green. Funeral Director Kimball had the arrangements in charge. |
