    Cast iron feeding trough for larger livestock animals, such as cattle or horses, from Dr. Wersebe's barn at 13 Wykeham Road in Washington, CT. It has a circular lip with two flat edges that come together to form a triangular shape. This piece is supposed to be wall mounted, as indicated by the holes drilled into one of the flat sides. The lip that curves has a flat edge on the very top.

  11. F 158 - Machine, Wood Boring

    A portable boring machine used to drill holes in barn timbers or beams. Mounted on a wood base, the wooden frame holds cast iron gears and an adjustable holder for the boring augers. Two side handles are cranked manually to move the holder up and down for the drilling movement. A side column holds a 10" measurement ruler. There are three iron drill bits (a, b, and c) included with the boring machine.
