   Oriental carpet, in a geometric in a predominant red/rust color with shades of blue, brown, gold and white present. All dark, natural sheep wool, single and double wefting (woof). Emblem border on a white background. Thick brown threaded binding and a stiff back. Two strips of different colored wool in center field giving the appearance of fading.

4. X1991.106 - Rug

   Floral hooked rug, wool on burlap backing. Three large red flowers with large leavesand fronds on a blue field with a brown border, and black binding. The brown border has "1891" hooked in red on the left side. The blue field is mixed with varying colors, the top being a 3.5" strip of navy and gray/ green. The green fronds in the background are highlighted in cream. New burlap backing has been tied on and a muslin edge applied to the bottom.
