2006.9.13 - Bracelet
Detailed silver (color -gold) bracelet with six scrimshaw ovals. Each scrimshaw oval is hand-etched in black with a horse in various positions. The clasp is a rectangular piece folded over with a small knob that inserts into the opposing end. Engraved on backside: "SILVER" and "CHINA" The third oval in has a folded piece of tissue embedded beneath the scrimshaw. Tissue is labeled : "Shurfine Peaches."

Oriental ornament of some kind of metal, silver? A Oriental lantern hangs from a 7" chain. The lantern has writing on 2 sides, an painted flower on a third and a circular cut out window with a turqoise painted dot above and below. An abstract whale sits on top of the lantern with blue paint on the fin and tail. Hanging from the lantern on three 2.75" chains are 3 fishing harpoons(?).

A long simple brass chain piece, likely as part of a necklace or some other piece of personal adornment. The pattern of the chain is one elongated loop and three small circle loops. Child's sash pin worn around the waist by Lucile Madeline (Koenig) Kramer when visiting her grandparents, the Schwoerers, on Lake Waramaug. The pin has the initials "L.K." engraved on the front and is made of brass.

Pin owed by Selma (Schwoerer) McCoy Moran, given to her by one of her boyfriends, and then later life she gave this pin to Lucile M. (Koenig) Kramer. The gold-toned pin is in the shape of a wide-brimmed hat with one side curled up. There are decorative flowers all along the top of the brim. The pin has approximately a one inch diameter.

An Asian stencilled jewelry box, reportedly 100 years old in 1975 when donated. There are three drawers and one compartment with a lid that opens on top. Inside the compartment is a square padded with orange silk. It has thin brass handles. Black with gold stenciling.
