2018.20.1 - Boot
A single black leather boot found in the attic of the donor's home in New Preston. It possibly belonged to Augustine Beardsley who owned the house and operated a tannery. The body of the boot only comes to the ankle with two long straps that would go up the leg, There is a loop at the top of each strap that could have been used to hold them up. This is a unique style of boot that could be researched further.
