    Light green silk square sample embroidery of the letter "M" for Mowbray. The item is embroidered with gold thread in a trellis of flowers/leaves. Four white flowers and two golden ovals on either side of the embroidery. Hand worked by Mrs. Henry Siddons Mowbray.

    (A) Cup, (B) Saucer Cup and matching saucer, each with a swirl raised design and decorated with tiny sprays of colored flowers. Both cup and saucer are edged in gold with a swag border. Cup handle has gold highlights and its terminals are decorated with a leaf and flower design in relief. Both are marked on the back in blue with an RL?/Dresden mark.

    Small blue and white transfer design mug (without handles, possibly a shaving mug), footed with straight sides. Decorated on the exterior with a continuous neoclassical river scene: 2 figures at the river's edge, trees, temple, and mountains in background. Flower border along inside rim. The mark "Wedgewood" stamped on the bottom accompanied with the # 31 printed in blue.

  6. G 129 - Vase

    Blue and white flower vase with long, narrow neck rising from 5-lobed base with an opening in each lobe. Design Chinese in character. Decorated around the bowl and around the neck with a band of lotus scrolls, around the base of each lobe with leaves, and around the shoulder of each lobe and repeated just below the rim of the neck with "ju-i heads". There is a mark/inscription (Chinese? characters) painted in blue on the base.
