    A marble bas-relief panel depicting a snake-like dragon eating fish. The upper, left and right edges are rough hewn. The bottom edge is smooth. The dragon has a wolf-like head and paws, wings, snake body and fish tail. The dragon may represent the devil and the fish, early Christians. This is the smaller and less intricately detailed of two similar marble panels bought by Franklin Root in Taormina, Sicily.

In blue ink on the back: " 'Clovernook' Rt. 47 Home of Rev & Mrs. Herbert Turner until 1920; now our Lady of Perpetual Help Rectory. Also, a Mitchell house at one time."
