Lillian Tousey's inkwell (a) with silver lid (b). Clear cut-glass inkwell with fluted body. A circle of 16 etched daisies adorn the top of each flute, 1.25" from the bottom. Underside is etched w/ a 1.5" daisy design. Hinged, sterling silver lid has a leaf and flower design w/ initials L.T. centered. Hinge is broken. Base of lid engraved with 4 symbols, "Sterling," and "S 2680." F 264 and F 265 are a matched set.

F 265 - Inkwell
Clear cut-glass inkwell with fluted body owned by Lillian Tousey, a live in patient of Dr. Wersebe for over 60 years. A circle of 16 etched daisies adorn the top of each flute, 1-1/4 " from the bottom. Underside is etched with a 1-1/4 " daisy design. Hinged, sterling silver lid has a leaf and flower design with initials L.T. centered. Base of lid engraved with 4 symbols, "Sterling", and "S2427." F264 and F265 are a matched set.

F 266 - Holder, Pen
Lillian Tousey's pen holder, a china cup, white with pink roses, green leaves, red stems. Molded design below painted flowers, highlighted in gold. Gold around rim. Straight sides, bottom bells out. Inside cup, filling it, is a brush made of bristles, held together with a metal ring. Glue on bottom. Pen was placed into this brush. *Note* - Do not turn upside-down! The brushes will fall out otherwise.

Squat round aqua glass inkwell (a) and feather quill (b). Domed body with 7-sided base and round faceted spout. Base embossed J & I E M, and the underside embossed with the # 5. Glass bubbled. White feather quill with clear end, tip broken off.

X1992.35.1 - Pen
Carved ivory pen and pencil. Both ends unscrew from shaft & can themselves be screwed into it. Possibly caps were screwed onto ends, but are now missing. One end held pencil lead, the other end's use is unclear. Shaft is hollow with designs carved in and through it. Nib end is delicate.
