Description |
Black and white real photo postcard of St. Andrew's Church at 247 New Milford Turnpike (Rt. 202) in the village of Marbledale in Washington, Connecticut. A dirt road and a portion of a fountain are seen in front of the brick church. On the back of the postcard there is a round postmark that states: "MARBLE DALE CONN. AUG 15 1913". Located in the top right corner next to the round stamp, is a green U.S. postage stamp with a drawing of the bust of George Washington. On the left hand side of the postcard in the correspondence section, handwritten in black ink states: "Many happy birthdays. Mr. Neverest". On the right hand side of the postcard in the Address Only section, is handwritten in black ink, states: "Miss Emily Maclay(?) - Cornwall - on - Hudson - N.Y c/o TW. Weeks.". |
