Description |
Black and white interior copy photographic print of Rock Gate's dining room. Light streams in from a nearby window onto the square, pedestal dining table with four side chairs centered in the dining room. The wooden side chairs have a squared back with flared ends, five arched rails, and front paw feet. A fifth side chair sits at the end of a buffet against the wall. The small room with low beamed ceiling and dark wood wainscoting features a brick fireplace. The wooden mantel has cabinets with diamond paned doors. To the right of the firepalce is an entryway with a recessed panel door with matching diamond pane window. A multi-patterned rug rests beneath the table and a light fixture with globes hangs above. In blue ink on back: "Seccomb House - 1890's, Dining Room" |
