Description |
China serving dish from the Holiday House made by Alfred Meakin. There is a floral pattern alone the outer rim and along the sloped portion of the dish. There are cracks and discolorations along the edge of the dish and two chips on the edge of it. The center lower portion of the dish has cracks in the porcelain. The back of the dish has the maker's mark stamped in brown ink, "Royal Semi-Porcelain, Alfred Meakin, England." There is also the number 7 written in blue, and the number 5 has been stamped into the porcelain. White paint had been previously applied to one area on the bottom of the dish to apply an object ID. |
