Description |
Postcard sent to Jean (Schwoerer) Campbell from Lucile and Robert Kramer. The front of the postcard has an image of the shoreline of Lake Waramaug from the Schwoerer's property. The caption on the front is "A Bit of Shore Line at Lake Waramaug, Conn." The back of the postcard has a Ben Franklin one cent stamp, on the left edge is "Published by The Sachem Hotel.", dividing the message and address sides is "Post Cards of Quality. - The Albertype" and the rest is obscured by a tear. The message on the postcard is partially obscured, but reads: "Sunday Hello Jean, Do you remember this ___? Regard to Mother + Daddy. Roberta and Dorothy, Utie + Bob" Utie was a nickname that Robert gave to Lucile. The postcard is addressed to Jean Schwoerer, 244 Albert Place, Elberon, New Jersey (Jean's summer home). |
