Hand colored postcard depicting the Gray Squirrel Inn, located at 27 Church Street in New Preston, Connecticut, now the New Preston Women's Club. The caption printed on the bottom left reads, "Gray Squirrel Inn, New Preston, Conn." and "Hand Colored" is printed in the bottom right. The back of the postcard has "Post Card" printed top center, "This space for communication" and "Address only to be written here." above the message and address sides of the postcard. The area for the postage stamp has "1 cent stamp here" printed, and along the left side is "A. M. Simon, 113 Mercer Street, New York City". |
