Spanish female doll in native costume. Plaster coated wood composite. Molded and painted facial features, black eyes, thin eyebrows, and small,closed red mouth. Her hair is a black wig of silk threads, center parted and pulled back in a bun with a red adornment worn at her right cheek. Seated figure screwd to a caned Bentwood rocker, left arm raised holding a (missing) guitar, crossed legs. Wears a floral print dress, long-sleeved, red flowers, black leaves on a beige field trimmed with gold velvet. The skirt is in layers of ruffles. Over the dress is a grey shawl with long light green fringe. Gold painted pump shoes. |
