Description |
Small silver jewelry case or keepsake box with lid and sleeve. The silver case is rectangular with squared off corners, flat base with Chinese characters engraved on the bottom.The lid slides tightly over the top and has a molded decorative top - a cross centered in a purple circle flanked by two bat like creatures in shades of blue. The sleeve with open top and bottom slides over the case and lid. The top is roughly cut to fit over the molded lid. The squared off ends consist of three floral panels. The front and back are Chinese characters. A geometric border is on the top and bottom. The sleeve is brass with a blue (enameled ?) background. a. case b. lid c. sleeve |
