Iron hook, S-shaped, tapering at each end to a point found in the basement of the John Gunn House at 4 Blackville Road in Washington, CT. The top loop is much larger and the bottom loop is only slightly curved. A small rope is attached to the bottom. Likely made by a local blacksmith in Washington Depot, CT. |
