Description |
Scottish boy doll in Native costume. Bisque head, molded and painted features, brown eyebrows, glass, blue eeyes that close, fake eyelashes, red partially opened mouth with white teeth, jointed arms & legs. Brown wig with blck velvet hat with red tassle, metal emblem in the front adorned with two feathers. Composite body with ball jointed arms and legs at the shoulders, elbows, hips,and knees wearing a Stewart(?) tartan plaid kilt with matching scarf gathered at shoulder with a brass emblem, over a white cotton shirt with ruffled lace jabot, matching tartan plaid knees socks,a black velvet jacket, and black boots with eyelets and laces. Kilt is fastened with brass safety pin. Attached to skirt is a black velvet bag with silver adornment and white tassel. Incised on back of head: "Armand Marseilles/ Germany/ 390./ A. 5/0.M " |
