Description |
China dinner plate from the Holiday House. The plate was made by Alfred Meakin and has a floral pattern along the raised outer edge. Both the center and the raised outer portions of the plate have cracks in the porcelain. The center portion has become slightly discolored. The back of the plate has the maker's mark stamped in brown ink, "Royal Semi-Porcelain, Alfred Meakin, England." The number 1 has been painted in blue on the back and there are cracks in the porcelain along the back as well. |
