The items have been given the following numbers: Cups- .1-8a/ Saucers- .1-9b/ Teapot- .10a/ Lid (Teapot)- .10b/ Creamer- .11/ Sugar bowl- .12a/ Lid (Sugar bowl)- .12b Tea Service of Lucy Tilden (Trotter) Hagen (1866-1954) of Washington, Connecticut. 20 pieces, consisting of: 8 cups, 9 saucers, a teapot with cover, a sugar bowl with cover and a cream pitcher. All pieces have a vivid purplish - red band above a white band within thin gold bandings. All pieces, except for the teapot, have a gold band edging with the black-line Key Fret design. The teapot and cover have a different border in gold. Cups have an inner gold band. Marked on all pieces in brown with an urn: WEDGWOOD/MADE IN ENGLAND. An additional marking of W 854 on all pieces except teapot which has W 181. Teapot has an additional mark of the # 24. Sugar bowl and creamer have an additional mark of the #30. |
