(a) Tea cup - (b) Saucer Staffordshire tea bowl and saucer, each printed in dark blue and decorated with a basket with flowers, a box, a vase with flowering branches and around the flattened edge with urns in medallions interspersed with a flower and scroll motif. Impressed on the underside of the saucer is a circle with a crown inside and the words: CLEWS WARRNTED STAFFORDSHIRE. The base of the tea bowl is marked in blue "Stone China". NOTICE: printing process on cup is not as carefully done as on saucer. There is another Cup & Saucer set similar to this set, also numbered G 13, which is missing. |
