Description |
(a) Clear plastic altitude distance finder made by the United States Air Force. Printed in the top right and left corners are top, side, and front views of two different planes types. Between the images reads: "Altitude-Distance Finder / Multi-Motor and Jet Types (Very Heavy)" Printed horizontally across the card are two rows of four circles, decreasing in size from left to right. The top row indicates height with the largest circle labeled "low" and the smallest circle labeled "very high." The bottom row indicates milage with the largest circle labeled "1 mile" and the smallest circle labeled "5 miles". In the bottom right corner is a profile view of a figure demonstrating how to use the card, holding it out in front of them and angling it at the sky.
