Description |
Black and white real photo of the Washington Fair located at 11 School Street, Washington Depot, Connecticut. At the top of the front in black lettering it states: "COME MEET YOUR FRIENDS AT THE". In the center is a black and white photo of the fiar grounds, in it you can see a banner that states: "WASHINGTON FAIR" there are some tents and people walking around the fair gounds.On the bottom in black lettering it reads "SEPTEMBER 4, 1914". On the back of the postcard there is a round postmark: "WASHINGTON CONN. JUL 1914. Located in the top right corner next to the round stamp, is a green U.S. 1 cent postage stamp with a drawing of the bust of George Washington. On the left hand side of the postcard in the correspondence section, On the right hand side of the postcard in the Address Only section, handwritten in pen, it states: " MRS. A. D. WEAVER, WOODBURY, CT." |
