Ladies' two-piece outfit of beige linen that was owned by Mrs. Walfred (Lillie Helga Maria) Carlson, a Swedish immigrant to Washington, Connecticut. Jacket (a) is long, with long sleeves, slightly flared, buttons down the front with three buttons, long V-neck with collar, collar and cuffs trimmed with lace. Skirt (b) long, plain, flared.

A meat cleaver from the Shepaug Market (which was located in Washington Depot), used by store owner Randolph Johnson, a local Swede. The blade is metal, and the handle wood. On one side of the blade, "Ox-Head Made in Germany" and a company logo is stamped into the metal.

Metal chopper used by Ruth Johnson, a Washington Swedish immigrant, during the early twentieth-century. This culinary tool is metal with a wood handle, and the blade is curved. Metal is stamped: Landers, Frary & Clark with Ætna Works stamped below. Landers, Frary & Clark was a housewares company based in New Britain, Connecticut. It operated from 1865 until its assets were sold to the General Electric company in 1965.
