Description |
Metal chopper used by Ruth Johnson, a Washington Swedish immigrant, during the early twentieth-century. This culinary tool is metal with a wood handle, and the blade is curved. Metal is stamped: Landers, Frary & Clark with Ætna Works stamped below. Landers, Frary & Clark was a housewares company based in New Britain, Connecticut. It operated from 1865 until its assets were sold to the General Electric company in 1965. |
