Russian woman doll, wood,on pedestal. Painted facial features; black brows and eyes, nose, and red closed mouth. Black painted hair, only center-parted bangs revealed beneath a gold painted scarf with red roses over her head. MOveable arms joined by tacks at the shoulders to the main body. Painted native costume - red coat with black, green, gold and red trim. Brown pedestal with green base. Stamped in red on base bottom: "Made in Russia." Rectangular white label with red border affixed to base bottom. Etched in black ink on label: "Amtorg/ 30c." |
