Description |
Broad, four slat-back rocking chair with a splint seat, painted or stained red. 3 arched slats, fourth slat is a narrow piece (possibly a replacement) and a squared top rail. Heavy, cylinder-turned back posts. Back posts are one continuous piece and with ringed turnings. Socketed arms connecting to stubby handholds on heavy turned front posts. Legs joined by seven plain round stretchers. Narrow rockers added to slotted legs. |
