    An 18th century wooden bearing block cap from the Cogswell Gristmill in New Preston, CT that would have secured a two inch steel shaft of the mill wheel to keep it from hopping around.     A small handmade wooden canoe. There are two distinct compartments carved at the top of the canoe. The compartment towards the back is long and holds a bench and what appears to be a small seat at the back. The wood appears to be stained in a dark finish and give a glossy appearance. There are small nails that hold the canoe together. On the left hand side, there is a picture hanging wire attached to the canoe.

    Broad, four slat-back rocking chair with a splint seat, painted or stained red. 3 arched slats, fourth slat is a narrow piece (possibly a replacement) and a squared top rail. Heavy, cylinder-turned back posts. Back posts are one continuous piece and with ringed turnings. Socketed arms connecting to stubby handholds on heavy turned front posts.     Queen Ann styling splat-back rocker with a splint seat. Back with a vase-shaped center splat and a concave yoke-shaped top rail (or crest rail) socketed on turned rear posts. Posts are one continuous piece. Flat, up-curving, half-length arms (or "stepback" arms). Turned arm supports penetrate through seat rails to the stretcher. Turned front posts. Legs joined by four turned stretchers, side stretchers are bulbous-turned. Socketed rockers.
